A fresh face hailing from the land down under, Emma Norris (18) is a young model to the scene.  Apart Chic Management, one of the well respected agencies in the world- who also manages such names as... oh, I don't know.... say, Miranda Kerr, Abbey Lee and the rising Rachel Rutt. This girl is gorgeous, edgy and fun- definitely someone to watch.

Bad Santa...

Around the middle of December Quality Social is transformed into a holiday wonderland fit for Mr. Claus to make a special appearance and take a break from all that gift giving nonsense. Photos of my friends and I from Discover San Diego's holiday party last weekend. And with its hosted free drink hour -  it makes sitting on Santa's lap a little less awkward...

Holiday Cupcake Bites...

For some reason I've been in that "I-need-to-make-things" mood... and went off the deep end with these cute little Christmas-y Cupcake Bites (recipe and full concept credit from Bakerella). A little time consuming, a lotta messy... but totally fun and will surely make anyone go "AWWWWWW!".

Try it out.

I used the standard red velvet box cake mix and icing - perfect proportions - and baked it the night before or if you're feeling a less ambitious- go buy a cake and mash it up!
